Description

The Sushi Basic Kit from Maxim Food is a simple starter set for making sushi at home. It brings together three essentials in one order: nori sheets to roll your sushi, soy sauce for dipping, and pickled ginger to serve between pieces.

What is in the kit

• 10 sushi nori sheets
• Dark Soy Sauce, 150 ml
• Caviale Pickled Ginger, 500 g

What else you need

Storage

Keep the nori sheets sealed in a dry place, and close the pack well after opening so the sheets stay crisp. Follow the storage instructions printed on the soy sauce and ginger packs.

Delivery

Delivery is EGP 59, and free on orders of EGP 2,500 or more. You pick one of three windows at checkout: 11 AM to 2 PM, 3 to 6 PM or 6 to 9 PM. Frequently asked questions

Does the kit include sushi rice?

No. The kit includes nori sheets, dark soy sauce and pickled ginger. Add sushi rice and sushi vinegar separately.

How many rolls can I make?

Each nori sheet makes one roll, so the kit has enough nori for 10 rolls.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. Start with simple rolls such as California (crab, cucumber and avocado) or Philadelphia (salmon and cream cheese).
